2 scene switch functionally not showing in Home Assistant

Hello,

Any help on this issue would be appreciated. I am not a matter developer so this issue is out of my scope of knowledge.

My understanding is that Tuya has to manually configure ZigBee devices to match matter standards and send information in a way that matter can communicate and read.

From the error posted previous, it seems like the "previous switch position" configuration does not match what is expected by the matter protocol and may be misconfigured on Tuya's side.

If any checks, changes or reconfigurations can be made to help resolve this issue that would be great!

You're right—this sounds like an issue with Tuya's Matter implementation, especially if the device isn't reporting its capabilities properly. If you haven't already, try updating the firmware through the Tuya app and double-check if the device is officially Matter-certified. Sometimes unpairing and re-adding through Home Assistant helps too. Hopefully Tuya pushes a fix soon.

This switch is not an ordinary one. It is a Generic Switch. Therefore, it has functions such as single-click, double-click, long press, etc. There is no on or off status.thanks.
