I tested adding to home assistant using the native matter curtain device and it really doesn't show the actual percentage. I'm guessing this is not a device side issue.

With tuya/smartlife I can move manually by hand andnthe app show the correct % position.... other thing is how the parameters can be readed by other platforms

When using the Tuya/SmartLife app, the device interaction protocol is not Matter, but Tuya's DP protocol.

Within each manufacturer's ecosystem, native protocols (such as the DP protocol) typically offer more features than the Matter protocol.

For example, Matter ecosystem apps currently do not support the “someone is moving” attribute for sensors, while non-Matter protocol manufacturers support these features due to customization.

The Matter protocol, in order to achieve universality and cross-ecosystem interoperability, inevitably reduces some available features.

Hello again. I have installed Home assistant too in my house. Same issue. I can close the windowa but not opening becuase the window possition is not read by HA (so the actual position does not work in Smartthings, Google assistant or Home assistant as I tried in in all of them)

As I mentioned here, even native Matter devices cannot display the percentage feature, so this is not an issue with TUYA or the bridge.
