See the title. Any option to store a wifi device related automation locally? If i have a gateway, zigbee, matter devices are store automation on gateway. Any future plan to do it with wifi devices? It would be really good...
No, The Wi-Fi device didn't have the space to save the automation locally.
If you have a GW device, the automation can be saved on GW device for all the device which belong to same family.
Currently Wi-Fi devices cannot store automation locally since they lack the needed storage and processing capability. For reliable local automation you need a gateway (Zigbee, Matter, etc.). More details discussed here: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/l ... i-devices/
