Thanks

Hi Poul, thanks for the feedback!

In order to troubleshoot the temp and humidity sensor and soil sensors, I need to get the ids of these devices. these ids are available in the device details page of the tuya smart app, please provide me with their data so that I can analyze it, thanks!

Ref:How do I view the id/ip/mac address/time zone of a device?

Re: Smartthings & Moes Matter MZHUB troubleshooting - help needed

Hi Poul, thanks for the feedback!

I have updated the profiles corresponding to the three device ids you provided, please try unbinding and rebinding, they should all now show up as temperature and humidity sensors that support battery level percentage display, looking forward to your feedback.

Hi fangping.guo

Thank you for the fast response. It's working! You are a champ.

All sensors are now reporting and updating with temp, humidity and battery level as you listed below. Really nice work.

Somehow the values are off by the decimal, so e.g. 25,0 degrees Celsius is showed as 250 degrees. That is consistent across all sensors. Please see attachments.

Another questions I hope you can comment on. I have more Tuya device I would like to add to the system. Would it be possble for me (or any end user) to make these changes without involving you and your team with id's? Can you comment on the short timeline and the longer timeline to make this more automated?

Thanks again and wishing you a great weekend
Poul

Re: Smartthings & Moes Matter MZHUB troubleshooting - help needed

Hi Poul, thanks for the feedback!

1) I've updated the configuration files for all three products again, so please test them again, thank you!

2) Regarding your wondering if it is possible to configure devices for bridging purposes on your own without Tuya staff intervention, I'm sorry to say that most of the devices currently require our action. Due to the very flexible dp point configuration of the cloud model of Tuya devices, we will need to manually configure different product pids this way for a long time to come.

Re: Smartthings & Moes Matter MZHUB troubleshooting - help needed

Hi fangping.guo

Thanks again for helping me out, the changes did help but now they are represented by a single digit. 28c is now represented as 2,8c
Please see pictures below.

I have also added 3 new sensors, same model as the one already working but I have forwarded you the id's just in case you need to change any values.

Regarding your answers to my 2nd question. Thank you, and I understand 100%. I appreciate all your hard work helping us out.

Regards
Poul

Re: Smartthings & Moes Matter MZHUB troubleshooting - help needed

Hi Poul, thanks for the feedback!

Which of the following do you mean:
1) Tuya app shows 28.1 Celsius while smart thing shows 28°. Lack of precision after the decimal point.
2) Tuya app shows 28 degrees Celsius while smart thing shows 2.8 degrees Celsius. Scaling is still incorrect.

Re: Smartthings & Moes Matter MZHUB troubleshooting - help needed

Hi fangping.guo

apologies for the misleading information.
My main issues is #2, the scaling is still incorrect.

The precision is not a problem for me, but was to show the difference between Tuya app and Smartthings.

Kind regards
Poul

Yes, you did it again! The temp is now showing as expected, great job.
Would it be possible to have the humidity part working in the same way as temp?

Okay, the same scaling has been configured for the three devices.
